Body found in truck trailer identified as Susana De Jesus

The body of a woman found in a truck trailer on Tuesday near Reliant Park in south Houston was today formally identified as that of a missing Pearland woman.

Passenger plane makes emergency landing after pieces fell off engine

An American Airlines plane bound for Chicago made an emergency landing this morning after an engine failed shortly after takeoff from New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Arrested carjacker led police to body of kidnapped woman

A man charged last night in an attempted carjacking in Pearland has given investigators information on the case of kidnapping victim Susana De Jesus.
Nicholas-Michael Edwin Jean, 21, of Pearland, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, burglary and theft of a firearm, Brazoria County District Attorney Jeri Yenne said.
