Alfie Patten, the British boy who allegedly fathered a child aged just 12 is not the father, according to DNA test results obtained by a British newspaper.
The DNA test shows Alfie Patten, 13, was not the father of his girlfriend Chantelle Stedman’s baby girl.
Patten made headlines all around the world when he claimed to be the father of 15-year-old Chantelle’s daughter Maisie Roxanne.
When it emerged that Chantelle had slept with other boys who also claimed to be the baby’s father, the Patten family agreed to a paternity test to settle the matter once and for all.
Last month, a High Court judge slapped a ban on further reporting of the story by British newspapers.
The ban quickly followed allegations made by a close friend of Chantelle’s family, Clive Sim, in the Daily Mail, that Alfie was not the father and it was all part of a scam to get money from newspapers.
Today the British tabloid, The Mirror, broke the story that a DNA test showed that Alfie Patten was not the father.
The story has since been removed from The Mirror’s Web site.
