Bodies of missing boater and daughter recovered from Biscayne Bay

The body of a Florida man and his eight-year-old daughter missing since they put out to sea on Sunday were found today.
A passing boater spotted the body in the waters of Biscayne Bay between Black Point Marina and Chicken Key just after 1:00 p.m., said Lt Eddy Ballester of Miami-Dade fire rescue.

At least 150 dead as earthquake rocks historic Italian city

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi this evening said that more than 150 people have been killed in the earthquake that rocked the historic city of L’Aquila in the early hours of this morning.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.3, struck L’Aquila just after 3:30 a.m., bringing Renaissance and Baroque buildings crashing to the ground.
