A Missouri high school baseball player has died after being struck by a wild pitch.
Doctors at St John’s Hospital declared 16-year-old Patrick Clegg brain dead last night. He was taken off a respirator today and his organs were removed for donation, in accordance with his wishes, said a hospital statement.

Woman convicted of removing body parts from corpses

A woman was convicted today in Rochester, New York, on 103 counts of illegally removing bone and tissue from corpses in 2005.
Kirssy Medos, 31, formerly known as Kirssy Knapp, managed the Brighton office of the now defunct Biomedical Tissue Services.
