Abortion doctor George Tiller killed during church service

Late-term abortion doctor George Tiller was shot and killed this morning at a church in Wichita, Kansas.

Two murderers walk out of prison wearing guard uniforms

Police are searching for two convicted murderers who walked out of an Arkansas prison wearing prison guard uniforms.
Jeffrey Grinder, 32, and Calvin Adams, 39, escaped yesterday evening from the Cummins Unit prison in Grady, corrections department spokeswoman Dina Tyler said.
Both men were serving life sentences without parole.

Texas man found guilty of trying to sell girlfriend’s daughter, 5, for sex

A Texas man was convicted today at the federal court in San Antonio of trying to sell his girlfriend’s five-year-old daughter for sex and child pornography.

Music producer Phil Spector, the man famed for creating the Wall of Sound in the 1960s, has been sentenced to 19 years to life in prison for the 2003  murder of actress Lana Clarkson.

Krispy Kreme plant blamed for clogging up sewer system

When McDonald’s left out a box of orange juice from a drive-thru order, an Oregon man called 911 to complain.
