Missing girl’s body found at river under block of cement

The body of a five-year-old Michigan girl missing since May 24 was found today by two men fishing on the River Raisin in Raisinville Township.
Nevaeh Buchanan was found about seven miles from where she was last seen in the parking lot of her apartment complex in Monroe.

Husband accused of using Craigslist to arrange rape of his wife

A 25-year-old North Carolina husband was arrested yesterday accused of arranging through Craigslist for his wife to be raped by another man while he watched.

Boy, 8, dies of bubonic plague in New Mexico

An eight-year-old boy has died from the bubonic plague and his 10-year-old sister is in hospital recovering.

Air France jet broke apart after ‘computers malfunctioned’

Air France chief executive officer Pierre-Henri Gourgeon said yesterday the Airbus 330-200 carrying 228 people from Rio de Janeiro to Paris broke apart either in the air or when it slammed into the ocean.

Texas woman accused of smearing feces on daughter’s IV feeding tube

A Texas woman has been captured on a surveillance video smearing feces from a diaper on her three-year-old daughter’s intravenous feeding line.
