Science teacher charged with attempted murder of student

A science teacher was charged with attempted murder today after an incident at his school on Wednesday.
Peter Harvey, 49, of Mansfield, is accused of attacking 14-year-old Jack Waterhouse.
Harvey an experienced and well respected teacher, is said to have “snapped” and lost control after the teenager allegedly swore at him during a physics lesson.

Led Zeppelin star awarded royal honor
