Police in Kansas City are conducting a homicide investigation after the bodies of three adults and a child were discovered at a home yesterday afternoon.
The bodies were found in a house on a tree-lined street in the northeast of the city. It was not known how the four died.
Police are withholding the names of the victims until relatives have been notified.
Local TV stations reported that the victims were a three-year-old girl, her mother, another woman and an elderly man who owned the house on Muncie Drive.
The girl’s body was apparently discovered in the yard and the adults inside the house.
The girl’s aunt Shenia Guetto said the owner of the house was known for helping people in need.
“If they didn’t have anywhere to go he would help them out and let them stay there … he was just a good man,” Guetto said.
