Jerry Lee Lewis gets mean with new single

By Calvin Palmer

Jerry Lee Lewis, the man who gave rock ’n’ roll its edge, released a single today off his forthcoming CD.

Lewis turns 75 next month and, befitting a man of his years, the mood is decidedly country.

Mean Old Man features Lewis and Kris Kristofferson, who wrote several tracks on the album

The single has been released by Shangri-La Music and the download is available on iTunes.

Lewis will tour Brazil, Las Vegas and Europe this fall to promote the release of his new CD and resurrect classic hits such as Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On and Great Balls of Fire.
